Description: 'Hands-on' Part-time FD sought to provide bookkeeping and accounting support to a small successful Consultancy practice.
The successful candidate will need to provide strategic advice from a financial management and financial planning perspective for a growing business alongside meeting the day to day Accounting requirements initially. Strong Excel knowledge and experience using SAGE is essential as is the ability to liaise effectively at all levels of the business.
You should be able to demonstrate a keen understanding of consultancy and the consultancy business model and show that you have the ability to challenge the status quo and make suggestions for efficiency and added profitability.
Based on your knowledge gained of the business through the production of cash flows and budgets you should be able to contribute effectively to management meetings making recommendations for improvements to costings, expenses control systems and project time records etc.
The provision of timely accurate Monthly Management information is the most critical element of this role.
